Once again thanks so much for all the emails and comments – Jessie, R & R, My Aunty Jane, Georgie, David, Deb, Melissa just to name a few. Love it!
Today has been a very lazy day – a much needed one and as I write I am still absolutely stuffed. I woke up at 7am (which is a sleep in) and did some study before getting up and having a shower. Had just got dressed when we heard this massive sound – like bombs going off. Luckily John has warned us that in China they set off fireworks to celebrate weddings. Flip they were loud and if I didn’t know what they were I would have been freaking. Apparently they chuck them out the window of the car as it travels too.. go figure. We heard two more sets of fireworks before the day was done.
We continued to study and did some housework before heading out for lunch. We ended up back at Wu-mart and brought some Sushi for lunch, ironic hey. Then we did some more school work and decided to watch a movie. Trouble is we have a wooden couch so we had to pile the duvets on to be able to sit on it for any length of time. We popped down to get dinner at about 7pm, its always interesting ordering dinner. Although there are pictures sometimes what you think you ordered and what you get are completely different! Ha.
Tomorrow we start the home stretch with teaching. We have 9 days of straight teaching before we come home. Its China and each day you just have to take it as it comes. Tony Gray the CEO of NMIT will be in Hangzhou tomorrow so we hope to meet up with him even if it’s just briefly.
Take care my cool cats.
Hopefully I will have more and exciting adventures to share with you tomorrow.
Much love
Lucy x
P.S its a mission to post photos so will upload some at a later date :)
